Love Island Australia fans are freaking out after learning that 2021 winner Tina Provis‘ real name actually isn’t Tina.

We know what you’re thinking — how could our wholesome villa queen have lied to us this whole time?!

However, rest assured that the 25-year-old hasn’t been telling us porkies. Well, not completely.

Tina is currently in isolation after her Love Island beau Mitch Hibberd tested positive to COVID-19 while they were staying together in Melbourne.

In a since-deleted TikTok posted on Tuesday, Tina shared a screenshot of a text message alerting her that she’d tested negative to the virus. But there was one tiny detail that her followers seem to be hung up on.

“Patient Name: CHRISTINA,” the message began. OMG! So Tina has been going by a nickname this whole time?!

Fans of the show were just as surprised, with many taking to the comments section to pull her up on the reveal.

“CHRISTINA??!!!” one Love Island lover wrote.

“Are we just going to ignore that your name isn’t Tina?” another penned.

Wow, the things you learn, hey?!

When Was Mitch Hibbered Diagnosed With COVID-19?

On December 16, Mitch took to his Instagram stories to reveal that he’d contracted COVID-19 while Tina and their co-stars Ryan Reid and Aaron Waters were all staying at his home.

Since then, the four Love Island chums have been seeing out a mandatory ten-day quarantine.

Mitch went on to explain that he feels “a little bit sick”, however, it’s “nothing too bad” at this stage.

“It’s just an eyeopener to how serious it is,” the 25-year-old confessed. “Hopefully everyone can get double vaccinated because it’s not a nice situation.”

Luckily for the group of former Islanders, they’ll be out of isolation just before Christmas, according to Mitch.

“We are out of iso on the 23rd so hopefully we can see our families for Christmas,” he explained.
