Now that The Bachelorette Australia 2021 finale has officially aired, Brooke Blurton and Darvid Garayeli have been doing the obligatory loved-up media circuit and of course, everyone is asking about Abbie Chatfield.
During an interview with KIISFM’s Kyle and Jackie O, Brooke revealed what she really felt about their coupling.
“I guess because Konrad [Bien-Stephens] was such a favourite, the spoilers taint the show a little bit,’ she told the co-hosts.
“If people know what the outcome would be, they’re not going to watch the show. And that’s fair enough.”
Kyle, who is known for asking anything he wants, then questioned our Bachelorette about whether she and Abbie had had “words”.
“Isn’t she your mate?” he asked. “Did you ring her and say, “B*tch, what is going on here?”‘
“I had that chat. Obviously, they’re now dating. We knew they were together and it was a night out. They slipped up,” she admitted.
“It was wrong place, wrong time, but we had a chat and it’s all good.”
Then Jackie O asked her why she had unfollowed her “friend” on Instagram.
“‘Have I? Sh*t? Sh*t,” Brooke said, giving nothing else away. Well, this speaks volumes if you ask us!

While Abbie made a very convincing friend during the show, since filming wrapped, she and Brooke no longer seem to be on good terms.
Of course, everyone lost their sh*t at the sight of Abbie’s appearance on the show – mainly because some fans are a little dirty her for debuting her relationship with Brooke’s fourth-place beau before the series finished airing.
As it turns out, our Bachelorette isn’t happy about the timing of Abbie’s hard launch of Konrad either seeing as she no longer follows her pal on the ‘gram.
Prior to this, and as reported in episode 121 of the So Dramatic! podcast, we revealed Brooke’s sentiments via a close friend.
“Brooke is really upset,” a close friend of the 25-year-old revealed. “She couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She had no idea they even knew each other!”
