It feels like a whole year since we watched season eight of Married at First Sight Australia 2021, however, now that the UK is finally catching up on the DRAH-MA, Jaimie Gardner and Chris Jensen have begun taken some serious swipes at one another on Instagram!
On Thursday, Chris participated in a Q&A on his stories and was asked by a fan what he thought about that podcast Jaimie released.
Firstly, for those living under a rock, the podcast episode he is referring to is actually episode 67 of the So Dramatic! podcast where Jaimie spilled all the tea on her experience on the show.
Answering the question, Chris said: “Well, if you listen to lies, I supposed I’d be worried, yeh. But I don’t listen to bullshit!” Ooft.
What Was Jaimie’s Response to Chris’ Q&A?
Jaimie then took to her own Instagram to call out Chris for “gaslighting” her.
“So, for the people that may not see it for what it is, for me this is a man absolutely gaslighting a woman’s experience.”
She then went on to say that whilst her experience on Married at First Sight was “mild” it “impacted her significantly”.
“It was aired in front of the entire country in a way that was untrue.”
According to the 35-year-old, “this happens to women all the time.”
“Where we’re put in situations where we’re treated poorly and then the person just gaslights you and says, that’s never happened.
“Unfortunately for me, it’s on a National and now global scale, now that it’s aired in the UK and I just think, it’s time to own up and say that’s what you did. Saying sorry is okay. Owning up to the behaviour is OK. I don’t care anymore but an apology and stopping the lies would be so appreciated.”
What Was Chris Jensen’s Response to Jaimie Gardner’s Video?
Unfortunately, Chris’ response was not an apology. Instead, he took to his story and said: “so its come to my attention I’m no longer allowed to answer questions on my own instagram or have an opinion!! this is just cooked hahahaha [sic].

Jaimie Called Chris “Frightening” During the Podcast Interview
In the tell-all interview on the So Dramatic! podcast, Jaimie recalled a frightening morning she had with Chris on their honeymoon.
While the couple were rushing to get ready for filming, Chris decided to help the crew do the breakfast dishes. She said to him: “You know you’re not here to help the producers do the dishes, just spend five minutes getting ready.”
Jaimie says Chris’ response was explosive.
“He would have been about a metre away from me…and says, ‘Don’t you ever f*cking speak to me like that again! I’ve had people try to f*cking control me in the past. Don’t you ever f*cking do that to me again!’” Jaimie relayed. “He turned around and slammed the door and walked out.”
