Worried you’re not going to have anything to watch once SAS Australia 2021 wraps up? Don’t sweat, because Channel 7 is bringing us SAS Australia: Hell Week very soon, and it’ll feature everyday Australians hoping to pass selection!

“Everyday Aussies, are you ready to go to Hell and back?” SAS Chief Instructor Ant Middleton asked in a teaser clip announcing the limited series over the weekend.

“Ordinary people are about to have their lives turned upside down.”

In the video, the recruits appear to face the same fate as the celebrities have this year — we’re talking death-defying challenges while airborne, as well as some serious mental f*ckery.

This will be the first-ever “normie” SAS Australia, which appears to run along the same vein as the UK’s SAS: Who Dares Wins, which also features everyday people taking on the Special Forces Selection course.

Given SAS Australia‘s success with a celebrity cast, we can only assume Hell Week‘s limited run is to gauge whether viewers want to see a full-length civilian version SAS Australia in the future! We know we do!

Ant Middleton Has Previously Hinted At A New SAS Season

This isn’t the first time we’re hearing of a special event series in the SAS realm.

When one fan wrote on Ant’s social media recently that his family won’t have another show to watch once SAS Australia 2021 concludes, the ex-Special Forces soldier teased a “little treat”.

“Ooh yes you will! Keep a close eye on Channel 7 adverts,” Ant responded. “I have a little treat for you after [SAS Australia 2021].”

Hell Week is slated to premiere late 2021.

SAS Australia 2022 Is Currently In Production

In early October, Channel 7 unveiled the 17 new celebrity recruits who are already filming the 2022 season along NSW’s South Coast.

Serial reality star Locky Gilbert, fellow Bachelor alum Anna Heinrich and I’m A Celeb star Simone Holtznagel are among the controversial season four cast.

Faced with intense physical and psychological challenges, athletes Millie BoyleBarry Hall, Geoff Huegill and Melissa Wu will also put their strength to the test.

If you’re a celebrity in strife, SAS is definitely the one show that will aid in rehabbing your public image. As for the 2022 cast, disgraced AFL presenter Wayne Carey and convicted drug dealer Richard Buttrose are the most controversial names among them.

We can’t wait to see what the Directing Staff throw at this next batch of recruits!

SAS Australia 2021 ‘s final episodes air this week on Channel 7Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:30pm.
