Punters have New South Wales couple Kirsty and Jesse pegged as the most likely duo to win this year, with their odds sitting at $1.75 as of Thursday. And as we know, the betting agency rarely get it wrong!
Across the season, Kirsty, 34, and hubby Jesse, 33, have revamped their two-storey property with a stunning Hamptons luxe style. Their home is the only multi-level home this season, already giving them an advantage come auction day.
If the pair generates the most profit during the finale, they will also take home a whopping $100,000 in prize money! Not a bad payday for weeks of hard labour, hey!
Returning Blockheads Ronnie and Georgia are slated to be the runner-ups of the Fans VS Faves season, coming in at $3.50. It’ll be the second time the seasoned renovators have failed to take out the win on The Block after their property was passed in during the 2017 season finale.
Twins Josh and Luke sit in third place at $5.00, while punters anticipate Mitch and Mark will finish up in fourth.
Will The Block’s Cheaters Also Be Losers?
Coming in well behind the rest of the pack are Tanya and Vito at $21.00 AKA last place. This year the married couple has been at the centre of the show’s “biggest cheating scandal” after it was discovered they had access to the show’s embargoed production schedule.
Tanya became the contestant-who-shall-not-be-named within Hampton’s Bronte Court after she claimed an “anonymous tradie” sent her the schedule. In turn, she and Vito — plus allies Josh and Luke — had leg up on the other teams.
Will it all pan out as the punters have expected? Find out on auction day, which is expected to air on Sunday, November 7 on Channel Nine and 9Now.
