Just hours after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Australian reality star Abbie Chatfield said she was not happy that a man was ruling the new Commonwealth.

Queen Elizabeth II died in Balmoral, Scotland, on September 9 and was the United Kingdom’s longest-serving monarch, reigning for 70 years.

Soon after the news broke, TV personality Abbie took to her Instagram Story to share her critique of the new male Monarch.

Abbie prefaced her video by admitting it was “obviously sad” that “someone” (read: the literal Queen of England) had died and explained that she’s “not a fan” of colonialism. This was a valid point, with the Queen crowned in the same time period as atrocities like the Stolen Generation.
