Influencer Sophie Cachia has reportedly received a huge pay packet for her stint on Australian Survivor: Blood V Water.

The former blogger-turn-business mogul previously denied any involvement in the upcoming 2022 series, citing that she’s the “biggest sook” and wouldn’t take part “even if they offered [her] 100K”!

However, despite refuting claims of a foray into reality TV, Sophie’s appearance in Australia’s first Blood V Water series was confirmed in December when an official promo was released.

Now, a production insider has spilled to So Dramatic! exactly how much dough enticed Sophie to appear on the hit survival series.

As it turns out, you can put a price on tackling an intense series like Survivor!

“Sophie was paid $200,000 for her appearance,” the source confessed in episode 140 of the So Dramatic! podcast. “She demanded the most money out of the entire cast.”

The insider added that producers knew she would be “guaranteed ratings and headlines”, which is why they agreed to the large sum after Sophie’s “hard-balling”.

Australian Survivor Producers “Disappointed” With Sophie Cachia’s Short Appearance

**SPOILER ALERT! Continue reading at your own risk!**

Despite forking out hundreds of thousands in appearance fees, the brains behind Australian Survivor were “extremely disappointed” that Sophie was the first to leave the show.

“It was essentially money down the drain for them,” the source revealed.

What’s more, is that producers allegedly thought the 31-year-old’s early elimination was “her plan to begin with”!

The insider said: “They… felt stupid for not putting a performance clause in her contract. They definitely didn’t get their money’s worth.”

On the other hand, Sophie is certainly getting HER money’s worth when it comes to anything Survivor-affiliated.

After staying totally mum about her appearance on the show, the influencer shared her first Survivor-related post on Monday and tagged it as a “Paid Partnership”.

Who Is Sophie Cachia Appearing On Australian Survivor: Blood V Water With?

The general gist of Blood V Water is that contestants will enter the game alongside a loved one, however, at one point or another, players will have to blindside their family member in a bid to become Sole Survivor.

In an early trailer for the new series, it was revealed that Sophie is appearing on the show alongside her elder sister, Kate, AKA ‘KJ‘.

“I honestly don’t think there is any relationship that is going to be stronger than two sisters,” she said in the clip.

It is currently unclear how long Kate lasts in the competition.

Australian Survivor: Blood V Water kicks off on Monday, January 31 at 7:30pm on Ten.
