Married at First Sight Australia 2025‘s Sierah Swepstone has leaked a voice note from a post-production team member who defended her and affirmed that she wasn’t treated fairly behind the scenes.
ICYMI: During her explosive tell-all on the So Dramatic! podcast, Sierah opened up about her experience on the marriage experiment, from discovering her TV husband Billy Belcher‘s criminal past and allegations of abuse, to being given an inaccurate edit.
During part one of her explosive interview, Sierah recalled how a Facebook page made a “horrible meme” about her after the third Commitment Ceremony, just before she left the show. At the time, she was accused of having a cheating scandal with Adrian Araouzou.
“Think about how awful I looked when I left at the Commitment Ceremony,” Sierah told host Megan Pustetto.
“I was so badly bullied for [how I looked]. I was accused of being on drugs, or being hungover, all of these horrible things.”
Married at First Sight producer urges Facebook page owner to delete nasty meme of Sierah Swepstone
Sierah then revealed that a post producer had sent a voice message to the Facebook page in her defence.
In the leaked audio obtained by So Dramatic!, the producer urged the page owner to consider deleting the meme, referencing ambulance photos of Sierah that circulated in February when MAFS was airing.
“You don’t know what happened on that set… But what you do know is that Sierah went to the hospital, and she was unwell. Balance that out. You do have the knowledge of how [the show] affected her,” the post producer said.
“If I were in your position, I’d probably take that down. It’s not cool, it’s very personal, and it’s not funny. I can also tell you… nothing happened between her and Adrian.”
Sierah then claimed that the fact that a producer “risked their job” to advocate for her privately “spoke volumes.”
“For someone to advocate for me like that, to me, says guilty conscience,” she asserted.
As part of the same podcast episode, Megan also revealed she’d received a tip-off from an insider, claiming that the production team were “instructed to give Billy a hero edit no matter what.”
