Farmer Wants a Wife Australia is returning in 2026, and next season’s farmers have officially been revealed.
Finding love on camera is a tough feat (ask any Married at First Sight participant). Yet FWAW has already resulted in 11 marriages and 27 babies. And we have a feeling next season will bring even more fairytale endings.
When casting for 2026 was announced, fans were quick to call for older farmers in their mid-30s to 60s. They have also been begging for farmers who aren’t necessarily looking to start a family. And their wish may have been granted!
Jarrad, Dylan, Alex, Jason, John, and Zac will all be searching for their lady on the wholesome dating show.

Farmer Jarrad, 41, Taylorville, SA – Almond
Jarrad is a devoted dad to two boys and a self-proclaimed outdoors enthusiast who loves fishing, motorbikes, and weekend adventures. He’s also a keen cook and enjoys deep, meaningful conversations over a good meal.
Jarrad is on the hunt for someone grounded, kind, and confident who can share life’s little moments. He’s looking for someone who’s “genuine”, “loves a laugh,” and isn’t afraid to “dive into life’s adventures” with him.
And he sounds super wholesome!
Farmer Dylan, 24, Cherry Gardens, SA – Sheep
Dylan is a rodeo-loving larrikin with a creative streak. Whether he’s breaking in horses or raising orphaned kangaroo joeys, this farmer thrives on adventure.
He also runs his own western wear brand and loves capturing the Aussie outback lifestyle through art and Reels.
So, what kind of woman is he looking for? He’s on the hunt for someone “driven” with a competitive streak who isn’t afraid to get a “little dusty” on the farm.
“I compete in rodeos, so having someone by my side who shares that same energy and desire to succeed would be great,” he asserted. “If you’ve got that edge and passion, we’ll probably get along just fine.”
Farmer Alex, 28, Kin Kin, QLD – Cattle and Mushroom
Alex describes himself as a creative and adventurous soul who is always chasing new experiences and stories.
The farmer is also a keen musician and writer and loves bringing people together, whether it’s on a dancefloor or around a good meal.
Alex is looking for “someone who brings joy, playful energy, and a love for life to every moment”. And we’re loving his vibe already!
Farmer Jason, 37, Coolabunia, QLD – Dairy
Jason is a happy-go-lucky dairy farmer with a big heart, a big smile, and an even bigger love for his two kids.
A former footy player turned netball and Pilates enthusiast, Jason loves staying active. His favourite pastime is catching a Broncos game in Brisbane and getting dressed up for a day at the races. Oh, he’s also a sucker for country music.
In terms of what he’s looking for in a partner? She has to be kind-hearted, bubbly, independent, fun, and open to the country lifestyle. In return, Jason says he’ll always have his partner’s back, keep them laughing and make sure their cup of tea is never empty.
“I want someone I genuinely enjoy being around,” he added. “Someone who brings energy, lightness, and joy to everyday life.”
Farmer John, 37, Mogumber, WA – Cattle
John is a fun, outgoing and determined cattle farmer who loves a laugh, an adventure and the outback.
The farmer describes himself as a perfectionist who believes in doing things right the first time. However, he’s also spontaneous enough to plan last-minute trips.
Affectionate, loyal and thoughtful, John says he’s looking for “someone to call home” who shares his values of honesty, trust and communication. Sounds like he’s ready to wear his heart on his sleeve!
Farmer Zac, 24, Forest Range, SA – Apple
Zac is a high-energy, big-hearted country boy with a sweet tooth (and caramel slice is his kryptonite).
Whether he’s kicking back with his close-knit family, whipping up crème brûlée, or belting out Unwritten in the car, he’s all about making life fun.
He’s looking for someone confident, social, and always up for a laugh. Bonus points if they love banter, sport, and spontaneous adventures.
“Love should be easy, like an endless fun sleepover with your best friend forever,” Zac claimed. Aww!
