Married at First Sight Australia 2025‘s Billy Belcher was allegedly in a love triangle with Awhina Rutene and her twin Cleo, and yes, we’re just as shook as you!
ICYMI: After months of fuelling romance rumours, Billy and Awhina admitted they were “just friends” after he was spotted kissing another girl in Bali.
However, as reported in episode 591 of the So Dramatic! podcast, this was far from true, as sources claimed that the pair had a sexual relationship, with Awhina even catching the feels (relatable).
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any messier…
When romance rumours first started swirling, Awhina’s TV hubby Adrian Araouzou claimed Billy had previously hooked up with her sister Cleo.
Whilst his claims were quickly shut down, as revealed in episode 596, Adrian may have been telling the truth all along.

One MAFS 2025 contestant told So Dramatic! that Billy and Cleo “had a thing” after filming wrapped.
“They were sleeping together for a bit,” the source alleged. “He met her through Awhina, and they hit it off immediately. They were hooking up and chatting for a few weeks, and still had a thing when the show started airing.”
Another contestant backed this up, claiming they even went on a couple of dates around Perth.
“Everyone here knew about it. It wasn’t a secret,” they added.
Another source close to Billy claimed they “hooked up several times between September and January”, and after it fizzled, he slept with Awhina for the first time after their joint birthday party in late February.
“We were all shocked because of his thing with Cleo, but he didn’t seem to care,” the source said. “He was actually bragging about it. It sounded like he thought it was a flex bagging both sisters.
“He even teased that he wanted to have a threesome with them, saying he would be able to make that happen.”
WTF?! Honestly, forget red flag. Billy’s looking like a full-blown hazard sign at this point!
