ICYMI: In the teaser for the February 24 Friends and Family week episode, Jasmin was shown grilling Adrian’s on-screen wife, Awhina Rutene and her twin sister, Cleo.
However, on February 23, ahead of her stint on the show, Jasmin took to her Instagram Story, stating that she “regretted” defending Adrian on TV. She also apologised to Awhina and Cleo for how she treated them.
But the biggest bombshell she dropped was that she was no longer friends with the controversial groom. Eep!
Why are Jasmin Weston and Married at First Sight’s Adrian Araouzou no longer friends?
As revealed in episode 473 of the So Dramatic! podcast, Jasmin and Adrian used to be besties and regularly collaborated on Instagram and TikTok.
They even ran a business and subsequent foodie dessert page on social media called “Sweet Sundayz”.
However, fans quickly noticed that the content was wiped from this joint page, which was also set to private.
Not only that, but one netizen also took to Reddit to speculate that the duo may’ve had a romantic past.
“[Jasmin and Adrian] recently (in the last six months) went away to a one-bed Airbnb together. They joked one slept on the couch or in their car and vlogged it. They also went to Bali together in December and vlogged it.
“Does anyone think they are friends still / maybe even together, and she’s distanced herself from him to protect her brand on social media?” Hmm…
