Love Island Australia 2019‘s Matt Zukowski has removed his ex-girlfriend’s name tattoo ahead of his wedding to Tammy Hembrow.

Back in 2022, the former Islander got a cheeky tattoo of his ex-bae Genevieve‘s name on his butt, inside a tiny love heart.

Despite splitting in 2023, her name has remained branded on his behind… Until now!

On September 30, the groom-to-be took to Instagram to take his followers along for his tattoo removal journey. It was also a sponsored post for the numbing cream brand Numbit Australia.

This was conveniently timed, considering the reality star is set to marry in November in Byron Bay.

Love Island‘s Matt Zukowski has a history of getting his lovers’ names tattooed

After breaking up with Genevieve in January 2023 after a year of dating, Matt discussed his reason for getting her name tattooed on his Where’s Your Head At podcast.

He explained that it was a spontaneous decision he made just two months into their relo.

It looks like spongy tattoos have become a common theme in Matt’s relationships. He also has Tammy’s name tattooed across his hip, while Tammy has a matching ink of her future hubby’s name on hers.
