Hunted Australia 2024 fans have pointed out a strange detail in the show’s finale, leading them to devise an interesting theory about the Hunters.
During the September 8 finale, Andy Dunt took home $51,500 after his wife Deb Dunt and bestie duo Romanee Virgara and Chelsea Hancock were caught before making it to the extraction point in Gem Pier in Williamstown.
Andy secured his win by diving into the water and swimming to a boat, which he used to speed away with his backpack of cash.

Whilst fans thought Andy’s win was iconic, many took to Instagram to question why the Hunters didn’t jump into the water to follow him.
“I’m curious. Were the Hunters allowed to get in the water?” one user asked. Another penned: “Disappointed that the Hunters were too scared to jump in the water.”
Hunted Australia fans reckon the Hunters aren’t allowed to jump in the water
Many fans theorised that the Hunters weren’t allowed to jump in the water.
“I just re-watched the end bit, and they said [the Hunters] aren’t allowed on the boat. But there’s nothing about jumping in the water to catch [Andy],” one person said.
“I think they said they’re not allowed on the boat,” another added. “But even if they had jumped in, they wouldn’t have caught him as he’d managed to get some distance, and they probably didn’t expect anyone to jump in the water.”
Another netizen pointed out that the Hunters had to wear “electronic devices and earpieces” so they probably weren’t allowed to get wet. And this checks out!
