Farmer Wants a Wife Australia 2023 fan favourites Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders have announced they have had to cancel their upcoming wedding, and what’s going on here?!
After finding love during last year’s go-around of FWAW, Andrew and Claire opted to quit the show partway through to embark on their romance away from the prying eyes of cameras and producers.
Claire soon moved to Andrew’s crop and sheep farming property in Narromine, NSW, before they announced in March that they were engaged after a sweet farm proposal.
However, fans have been disappointed to learn that another Farmer Wants a Wife wedding isn’t on the horizon, after Claire announced on July 8 that they’ve cancelled their upcoming nuptials.
“My dogs and I have headed north to Darwin to work for the dry season,” she penned in an Instagram Story statement.
“Andrew and I have had to cancel our wedding due to reasons out of our control, but we are both okay.”
Claire added that she was unsure “what else to say” aside from the fact that “sometimes life is hard and we all just need a little breathing space”.
“There will be no farming content from me for the foreseeable future,” she concluded.

While Claire didn’t explicitly say she and Andrew have called it quits, fans noticed that she quietly removed their engagement announcement from her Instagram account.
Now, the latest pic of Claire and Andrew is from October 2. Meanwhile, the last snap Andrew shared of his bae on his page is from June 2023.
In a Farmer Wants a Wife Facebook group, fans shared their disappointment over what appears to be a rough patch in their relationship.
“Damn, they were my faves,” one viewer penned, while another pointed out Claire had recently been wedding dress shopping too.
“I’m so sad for Claire. She didn’t deserve this,” a third added.
“I hope they can work it out,” another fan expressed. And we do too!
