However, this didn’t go down well with some fans, given Tammy’s estimated net worth of $50 million, per Australian Financial Review’s Young Rich List.

People were also shocked to learn that Tammy, who has three kids, Wolf, Saskia and Posey, from her previous relationships, was requesting a child-free wedding.

On June 13, the Saski founder took to TikTok to double down on her “tacky” wedding requests in a clip captioned: “Get ready with me whilst we chat crazy headlines”.

Tammy Hembrow clarifies she’s ‘NOT asking for donations’ at her wedding

Regarding the wishing well, Tammy clarified that she was “not asking for donations” at her wedding.

“This is meant to be for my family and friends, remember that,” she said.

“I think a wishing well is a pretty normal thing for people to have at a wedding. We only had it because people kept asking me about gifts.”

The mother-of-three stated that her friends and family thought the online outrage was “funny” because none of them agreed that the wishing well was “weird”.

Tammy Hembrow confirms her kids will be at her wedding despite the ‘no kids’ rule

The 30-year-old also defended her decision to have a child-free wedding before explaining that this rule didn’t apply to her own children.

“Of course, my children are going to be at my wedding,” she said. “I just meant that I didn’t want other people bringing their kids because, let’s be real, kids can be full on!” Fair enough!

She then explained that the “no kids” rule was in place so that her guests could “relax and enjoy themselves”.

“I’ve got kids, and I know how stressful they can be. You can’t take your eyes off them and relax. I want everyone to have a good time and relax.”

Fans show support for Tammy Hembrow amid wedding invitation controversy

Fans flooded the comments section to support Tammy amid the wedding invitation controversy.

“I don’t know a wedding that hasn’t had a wishing well, haha,” one user wrote, whilst another agreed: “I’ve never been to a wedding without a wishing well. We had a wishing well. I didn’t want eight toasters and a slow cooker 😂.”

Fans also backed Tammy’s decision to have a child-free wedding.

One user with a baby in her profile picture commented, “Omg, give me a kid-free wedding invite any day!” Another person said, “We had an adult-only wedding, best decision.”

A third netizen added, ” Yes, no kids, but only your own. We’re doing the same, and then a babysitter will have them for the whole night.”
