Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Eden Harper and Jayden Eynaud have confirmed their breakup after weeks of speculation.
ICYMI: As revealed by So Dramatic! on April 7, several MAFS participants revealed that the couple had broken up “weeks ago” following Jayden’s cooked behaviour post-filming.
On April 17, Eden took to Instagram to confirm this news, explaining that things didn’t work out the way she thought they would.
“When I [decided] at Final Vows to be with Jayden, I really did that with long-term intentions,” she started.
“Jayden and I spent many months together after the experiment, during which Cub (her dog) gained a dad and I gained a second family whom I’m truly grateful for.
“I’m saddened to share that toward the end of the show airing, our relationship came to an unexpected end. The ‘reality’ is, the person I chose didn’t choose me.” Ouch.
The 28-year-old explained that although she was “disappointed”, she’ll never regret the time she spent on MAFS.
“Thank you for supporting us and for also wishing for the same fairytale that I had hoped for,” she finished.

Jayden also addressed the breakup with Eden on Instagram.
“Sometimes in life, things don’t always go the way you had hoped for,” he wrote.
“After the experiment, Eden and I went back to the Gold Coast and continued to enjoy living our lives together and getting to know each other every day.”
The professional kickboxer explained that their relationship ended “not long before the end of the experiment airing”.
“As sad as it is, I’m so glad I got to go through this with such an amazing woman and a beautiful son 🐶,” he added. “You will both always have a second family on the Gold Coast ❤️.”
