Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams have set the record straight about that “just fake it” comment, plus where Jack actually bought Tori’s bracelet from.
ICYMI: During the final dinner party, Tori muttered something to Jack before kissing him, which was subtitled as: “Kiss me. Just fake it.”
Chatting to Pedestrian.TV following their Final Vows, Tori spilled that she didn’t remember saying those words. And it sounds like a classic case of convenient amnesia!
“If I did say ‘just fake it’, I had red lipstick on,” she said. “No one at that table was gonna tell me if I had red lipstick smeared all over my face. So if I did say ‘just fake it’, that probably would have been the reason.”
The bride then explained that she might’ve been saying something different, despite the subtitles.
“When I watch it back, I don’t actually think I say ‘just fake it’. I think I say ‘just a quick one’ or ‘just quickly’,” she added.
“We never faked affection… So if the words were ‘just fake it’ it would have been because I had a red lip on and that’s a disaster waiting to happen.” And sure, Jan!

During Homestays, Jack gifted Tori a gold bracelet with the letter T on it.
However, eagle-eyed fans discovered that the bracelet could’ve potentially been purchased from Temu for $3.18, causing quite an uproar on social media.
Despite the confusion, Jack insisted that he “definitely didn’t [buy the bracelet] online.” But we’re still not convinced…
“I can confirm it didn’t come from Temu,” Jack told Pedestrian.TV.
“It was quite an expensive little bracelet from a jeweller. It does have two diamonds on it and a lovely little ‘T’ initial… We bought that on the Gold Coast during Homestays from a nice jeweller.”
And was this “nice jeweller” Lovisa, by any chance?

All season long, fans have questioned whether Jack has any real friends after he brought clients, rather than friends and family, to his wedding and Homestays.
However, the groom has insisted that his clients are his real friends.
“Hand on my heart, my two best men at my wedding, I did meet them at the gym,” he said, before explaining why he didn’t have many friends outside his job.
“I’ve lived on the Gold Coast for ten years. I don’t live a party-boy lifestyle anymore, so I’m not that social… I’m at that gym 50 to 60 hours a week,” he justified. And ten years is a loooong time to make friends, buddy!
He added: “When I do host a party or get invited to events, it’s genuinely through the people I have met at work… I consider those guys my family and friends.
“It just so happens I’ve networked with those people at the gym but I still do have a bunch of really good mates who are in Victoria.” And sure you do!
According to the personal trainer, Tori’s met all his friends from Melbourne, but he didn’t invite them to his on-screen wedding because he wanted his stint on MAFS to be a surprise! LOL!
“They’re life-long mates that I only chat to maybe four or five times a year,” he said.
“I wanted the people that I live my life around now to be a part of it so we could talk about it, and experience it together.
“And I wanted the shock factor to hit my mates back home watching it on TV.” And we’re sure they were shocked indeed (if they even exist)!

While Jack kinda described his relationship with Tori as platonic during his Final Vows, he admitted that he’s almost fallen in love with her IRL.
“Part of my backstory was the fact that I never told a woman that I’ve loved her, apart from my dad and my mother,” he explained.
“Tori has moved in with me. We’ve lived together for maybe three to four weeks now, and we’re very happy. I’m very much falling in love with her and we’re creating a very nice lifestyle together.
“Our lives are very in sync and we’re living very humbly, happily and I can definitely see love on the cards in the future.”
