Married at First Sight Australia 2020‘s Seb Guilhaus has pleaded not guilty to drug trafficking charges.

The 35-year-old was arrested after police allegedly seized approximately 870g of methamphetamine, believed to have a street value of around $90,000, during a raid at his home on July 28, 2023.

Seb was later released on bail on August 4.

The former TV groom returned to Adelaide Magistrates Court on February 28. There, he pleaded not guilty to one count of trafficking in a commercial quantity of a controlled drug.

“Pleas of not guilty will be entered through counsel, with a case to answer conceded,” his lawyer said, per Adelaide Now.

Seb Guilhaus requests change to his home detention bail conditions

The court was also asked to alter Seb’s home detention bail conditions so he could attend his apartment building’s in-house gym.

“There is also an application on file to vary his bail to seek a condition that allows him to attend level two of his apartment complex, which is a gymnasium,” the defence lawyer said.

“Correctional Services have said no, as they basically have a blanket prohibition on any gymnasium facility, notwithstanding that this is a private self-contained facility in his building.”

Chief Magistrate Mary-Louise Hribal ordered a home detention report to assess whether the reality star can still be monitored while in his building’s gym.

Seb is set to reappear in court in March.
