It’s been revealed that Married at First Sight Australia 2024‘s Jack Dunkley was engaged before his reality TV debut.
A lot of things haven’t been adding up since we were introduced to the Gold Coast-based personal trainer. Such as his explanation for the tea that he allegedly dumped his girlfriend Courtney to appear in the 11th season of the marriage experiment.
Now, sources who know Jack confessed to So Dramatic! that they’re “so confused” by the rumours because they thought he was still engaged to a DIFFERENT woman. WTAF!?
Yep, you heard that right!
As reported in episode 347 of the So Dramatic! podcast, one person questioned whether host Megan Pustetto changed the ex’s name to Courtney to protect her identity.
“Or did Jack have another girlfriend?” they wondered. “He was engaged to a woman named Christie, and I thought he was still engaged to her.
“But now there’s another woman that he’s dumped. I didn’t realise they even broke up.”
The insider added: “I’m just so confused because they used to post each other on socials… I’ve followed him for years after we used to talk at the gym.”
They also said it appears that Jack and his former fiancée “still follow each other”.
“I know him quite well, have been following him for ages, and I see him at the gym all the time,” they concluded. “He’s never posted a Courtney on socials so it’s really weird.”
Very weird indeed!

Another source revealed to So Dramatic! that they also thought Jack was still engaged to Christie before seeing him in the MAFS lineup.
“I was so confused seeing his photo,” they admitted. “He has NO trouble talking to meeting women. At all.
“But weird, he was engaged for as long as I can remember. I did notice they both stopped posting each other, but a lot do that.
“I wonder if he is another who broke it off to go on TV for fame.” Yep, sounds like they’re right on the money!
So Dramatic! has also obtained a couple of snaps of Christie, and safe to say, Jack has a penchant for drop-dead gorgeous women!
