Channel Nine has slammed the Married at First Sight Australia 2024 cast with a series of strict rules to prevent them from “going rogue”.
The 11th season of the marriage experiment premieres on January 29, and the brains behind the show are doing everything in their power to keep the latest batch of newlyweds in check.
A well-placed source dished to Yahoo! Lifestyle that the network has enacted five concrete rules the cast must follow this season.
At the top of the list is “absolutely no OnlyFans until the season has finished airing”. This is because the head honchos are mindful of MAFS‘ “increased association with adult content,” as many former stars have made the foray onto the site.
And you gotta respect the hustle, hey?!
The second rule is that MAFS contestants aren’t to “capitalise” on their appearances while the show is still on screens. This means brand collaborations, personal appearances, signing agents, or management are out of the question while Nine is airing the series.

According to the insider, Nine is cracking down on cast members spilling the beans without permission.
As such, the third rule is that brides and grooms are “not to talk to any media without clear approval [from Nine]” to quash spoilers and negative press by “slamming their edits”. But if history proves correct, this is a BIG ask…
Participants have also been reminded not to have any public outings with their baes from when the show begins until their exit.
Finally, Married at First Sight stars have been urged to lean on production to safeguard them. They’ve also been asked to check in when things get too tense and utilise the support provided by the network.
While this all sounds good on paper, many former participants have let these rules slide.
Most recently, Alyssa Barmonde and Olivia Frazer slammed the production team for failing to take accountability for the fallout of MAFS and the mental well-being of their “villains”.
