Love Island Australia 2023‘s Nate Page and Georgia Murray have given a surprising relationship update.
ICYMI: The pair were BRUTALLY dumped from the villa after their fellow Islanders voted them the “least compatible” (which is utter BS if you ask us).
Following their shock exit, the pair revealed to 9Entertainment that despite briefly splitting up post-show, they’re back together and going strong! YAAS!
“After we left and got back to Sydney we tried to give it a go, but life was really hectic so we had a bit of a break,” Georgia admitted.
However, after taking some time to themselves, the duo realised there was still a “spark” between them.
“We just started talking again and we were like ‘Damn, there’s obviously still a flame here’,” Georgia continued, before confirming that the couple IS officially back together! We love to hear it!
“Our journey is definitely not finished, we’re definitely together,” she gushed. “We just fit back like a glove. It was so easy.” Aww!
Love Island‘s Georgia and Nate say their relationship is STRONGER IRL
The pair, who experienced their fair share of tension on-screen, also explained that leaving the villa took the pressure off their relationships.
“I feel like I’m dating a different Nate,” Georgia explained.
“He’s more relaxed now that he’s surrounded by his friends and family. It definitely feels like a fresh slate.”
Nate chimed in: “We’re definitely doing better than we were towards the end of the Villa, that’s for sure.”
Nate also revealed the couple’s plans for the future.
“I’d love for us to… develop a connection where we want to push it to the next stage,” he said. “It feels like it’s going in that direction.”
Has Nate been seeing Georgia as much as she wanted him to?
On the show, the pair had many debates about how often they were going to see each other IRL.
Georgia wanted the couple to spend as much time with each other as they could, whilst Nate was keen on only hanging out a few times a week.
However, this hasn’t been an issue because the pair revealed that they’ve been making PLENTY of time for each other!
“Nate’s been great,” Georgia said. “He’s been planning stuff and tells me things like, ‘Hey, I’m coming to see you on Friday, be ready’.” And we love to hear it!
