Love Island Australia 2023‘s Zac Nunns has addressed claims he was being “flirty” with women at an event in Melbourne.
ICYMI: It was revealed Lucinda Strafford and Zac are still together IRL after they were spotted together in the UK in November, and according to the British beauty, her bae has returned to Australia.
Since then, one So Dramatic! spy alleged they saw Zac, along with co-star Trent Woolman, being “completely flirty” at a private 50 Cent event last week.
“I don’t think Lucinda and Zac work out, and if they do work out, awkward, ‘cos I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him last night,” the source said.
Zac has since provided a statement to So Dramatic!, in which he explained he was only being “polite” to fans.
“Trent and I were invited to attend the 50 Cent private event at the Emerson and it was a weeknight,” he said. “I was not drinking and was politely taking photos with all the people who were asking and answering their questions.
“The fans have been so lovely since the show started and I’ve been overwhelmed by the support. It’s amazing so many people have been watching.”
He concluded: “It’s been really special for me to watch my love story with Lucinda unfold on TV and I really can’t wait for everyone to see this last week in the villa.”
Welp, he may as well have added #VoteForZacAndLucinda at the end, too!
It comes after Lucinda gushed about her “walking, talking red flag” boyfriend to UK publication The Sun in December.
