Love Island Australia 2023‘s Andy Cosgrove has revealed details about the unaired conversation he had with Nakia Pires before his history-making recoupling move.
ICYMI: During the December 11 episode, Andy chose to stay single in the final recoupling because he couldn’t see a future with any of his suitors, sending himself, Nakia and Harmony Johnson home.
Although his move seemed respectful at the time, Andy later told 9Entertainment about a secret conversation that painted his decision in a VERY bad light. Yikes.
During her exit interview, Nakia said: “I think that Andy is honest to a point. I think that his choices leading up to the decision could sometimes be dishonest.”
And according to Andy, this is kinda true.
“I told [Nakia] that I was going to pick her in a recoupling if it came down to it,” he confessed. “When I said that to her I absolutely meant it.” Yikes.
The 27-year-old added: “I did lead her down that path a bit and it wasn’t until maybe an hour before that I actually decided to go the direction that I went.” The plot thickens!

After leaving the villa, Andy has well and truly re-entered the dating scene, admitting that a special someone has caught his eye.
“She’s severely out of my league,” he said. “She’s stunning and we bonded over the fact that she’s also an American living in the Goldie (Gold Coast).”
He continued: “She’s also from Southern California where I’m from and she’s a little bit older so she’s at a similar place in life to me.” And it looks like he’s still playing the age game!
Fellow dumpee Harmony also dished on her lurve life, sharing that she’s just become exclusive with a new man!
“About a month ago I met this guy and we’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since,” she gushed.
“I’ve met his family and we have plans for New Year’s so we’re definitely looking forward.”
