Rapper Post Malone has given a wholesome shout-out to My Kitchen Rules 2016‘s JP Huillet and his wife Lizzy after their newborn daughter Indie was born with heart complications.
On November 28, the couple took to Instagram to share a video the American rapper filmed for them, captioned: “I have no words. Big love from the man himself. From the bottom of our hearts thank you so much.”
“Hi Lizzy, hi JP, hi Indie, welcome into the world,” the Rockstar singer said in the clip.
“We love you so very much. Good luck, stay strong and keep kicking ass. I love you so much and I’ll see you guys soon hopefully, love you.” Aww!
Many of the couple’s fans filled the comments section with kind words.
“That’s so amazing, keep strong Indie!” one person wrote, whilst another added: “Baby girl is so loved!”
A third penned: “How amazing is this?! You guys are the best and deserve it!” whilst a fourth said: “That’s so beautiful Lizzy. Stay strong baby girl Indie you are so loved and so adorable.”
Lizzy later told Daily Mail Australia that the video from the musician was “the best surprise”.
“It couldn’t have come at a better time and definitely lifted our spirits,” she gushed. “What a sweet man. We’re so grateful.”
What happened to My Kitchen Rules‘ JP Huillet and Lizzy’s daughter?
On November 20, a GoFundMe was launched, revealing that Lizzy and JP’s daughter had been suffering from “major heart problems”.
“Little resilient Indie battled surgery last week and has to face open heart surgery in upcoming months,” it explained.
“JP has understandably stopped working until further notice to support Lizzy and Indie. Any raised funds would be greatly appreciated to assist the Hulliets during this extremely difficult time.”
JP and Lizzy tied the knot in May 2021 and Indie is their first child.
