The Bachelor Australia 2015 couple Sam and Snezana Wood have put current reality contestants on blast for going on the show for the wrong reasons.
The once-hit dating show will return to screens on December 3 for its second go-around in 2023 and will feature three leading men again.
With the contestants for the latest season recently being revealed, questions have been raised about just how genuine the suitors are.
“[The show has] changed,” Snezana told Yahoo! Lifestyle. “It’s not what it used to be.”
According to Sam, people’s motivations for applying for The Bachelor have changed drastically since he met his wife on the show.
“I feel like people don’t necessarily go on it now with the number one objective to meet someone,” he confessed.
“And I think the reason it worked out so well with Snez and I was that we actually hoped to meet someone.”

Snezana, 43, also insisted the duo had no idea the level of fame they would experience post-show.
“We were naïve to the stuff that would follow,” she said. ‘I had a whole 100 followers, if that, beforehand.
“I didn’t even know Instagram was such a thing, so that wasn’t a factor for me at all.”
At the time of writing, Snezana has over 330,000 followers, while Sam has 266,000.
She continued: “It just kind of takes the fun out of watching it because you know why they’re on [the show] so it’s not enjoyable to watch it.
“That’s probably why we don’t watch it, and it’s probably why a lot of the relationships don’t work anymore.”
Sam and Snezana got engaged just six months after The Bachelor before marrying in a Byron Bay ceremony in 2018.
They share four daughters: 18-year-old Eve (from Snezana’s previous relationship), Willow, six, Charlie, four and Harper, one.
