My Mum Your Dad Australia 2023 is on its way and the first trailer proves it’s going to be as hectic as the OG season.
For those who need a refresh on the premise, a bunch of single parents will shack up together as they look for a second chance at love.
Unbeknownst to them, their kids are watching on from a secret bunker and are making all the decisions behind the scenes.
In a trailer for the latest My Mum Your Dad series, one daughter expressed that she’s “protective” of her mum.
“I don’t want someone to come in and break her heart again,” she confessed, while another daughter dished about her dad: “I’ve seen him heartbroken. He has so much love to give, and no one to give it to.”
“I’m finally ready to meet the love of my life,” one parent admitted.

Then, viewers are privy to the moment host Kate Langbroek told the kids they’d be pulling all the strings.
“Who your parents date, how often the date… it’s all in your hands,” she explained to them.
One very flirty dad piqued the curiosity of one daughter, who questioned his son: “Is your dad a player?”
When he just smirked in response, she said: “I’ll take that as a yes!”
In another scene, a father became vulnerable when he admitted that their “kids are a lot wiser than [they] think”.
“They see everything. [My heart] is calling for connection.”
There isn’t an official start date for My Mum Your Dad 2023, but we have a feeling all it’s hectic and heartwarming drama is just around the corner.
