The first official trailer for Married at First Sight Australia 2024 has dropped and chaos is most definitely the theme for the marriage experiment’s 11th season.

If you’re not in the loop, MAFS is returning to the small screen early next year —for better or for worse.

Now, we’ve been given a glimpse into the new season, thanks to a trailer that was unveiled at Channel Nine’s annual Upfronts event on September 6.

Season 11 is touted to “break the rules” yet again, with expectations that ratings will be through the freakin’ roof, but we’ll believe that when we see it!

The trailer kicked off with 60 Minutes reporter Tom Steinfort seemingly being mistaken for a stripper at the Hens’ night.

“I’m Tom Steinfort. I’ve survived rocket strikes in the Ukraine, been bitten by deadly spiders, interviewed crime lords in North Korea, but nothing prepares you for a mission as wild as this,” he said.

He then entered a room full of brides-to-be, who swarmed him on camera. LOL!

Punters also got a glimpse of 2022 groom Mitch Eynaud‘s brother, Jayden, walking down the aisle on his wedding day. Then, flashes of Tim Calwell, Jack Dunkley and Ben Walters appeared.

Lucinda Light reveals what she’s looking for in Married at First Sight Australia 2024 trailer

42-year-old bride Lucinda Light also featured in the clip, where she dished details on her perfect man.

“I want somebody who is quite intelligent,” she confessed in her audition.

“I do not want a bogan. If it’s the right person it would have to be so on point that we would be making love with existence.”

The first trailer comes after it was revealed several grooms had stormed off the set of the marriage experiment, including Simon Flocco, who was cast as part of the show’s most recent same-sex couple.

However, after he quit MAFS before filming his wedding day, producers were forced to can his storyline.

C’est la vie…
