The Block 2022‘s Sarah-Jane Calleja has spilled the beans about the controversial parenting act her hubby Tom isn’t too sure about.
During the August 29 episode of her podcast, I just Can’t with SJ & Rach, Sarah-Jane confessed that the couple argue about whether it’s appropriate to kiss their daughter Cleo, 2, on the lips.
“It’s something Tom and I have always been black and white on and just don’t agree about,” the mother-of-one dished. And we’re not sure how we feel about this one…
“I give Cleo a kiss on the lips and I don’t see an issue with it. But Tom is so against it, he’s never kissed her on the lips.”
According to the reality star, Tom wanted to tell their family members not to kiss Cleo on the lips because “he thinks it’s half inappropriate” and “half unhygienic”.
Co-host Rachel Carr then admitted that she also kisses her kids on the lips. However, she could see “exactly where [Tom’s coming from].”
“My sister has a little baby [who] I smother in kisses. And I was thinking, ‘Is this right anymore to even be smothering my nephew in kisses in this day and age?’,” she laughed.
Sarah-Jane currently has a baby boy on the way. And we have a feeling he’s not going to get all the kisses Cleo’s been receiving…
