Jackie O Henderson has broken her silence on rumours she’s dating a 29-year-old ‘toyboy’ named Jack Tyerman.
ICYMI: The Kyle and Jackie O co-host revealed that she’d been dating a mystery man before she was spied enjoying an alleged date night with the model-slash-tradie on August 4.
While we absolutely loved this for the 48-year-old — who split from her husband Lee Henderson in 2018 — some were a bit wary of the romance given the couple’s 19-year age gap.
However, Jackie has since denied that she and Jack are dating.
Addressing the rumours on her radio show on August 24, the mum-of-one said while she is “dating”, she and Jack are “just friends”.
“No, Jack is not my boyfriend. We’re not in a relationship. He is not my boy toy,” she told co-host Kyle Sandilands.
“Jack is a good friend of mine. I know him through a friend of ours. We didn’t meet on a dating app or anything like that.”
She then added that she takes the “blame” for the romance rumours, given she expressed at the Logies that she was somewhat off the market.
“In my mind, I’m dating and I’ve been on a few dates, so I said ‘maybe [I’m dating]’,” she recalled. “But I probably should have said, ‘Maybe, we’ll see what happens’.”
Jackie’s confession comes after sources alleged the model had plans to reunite with his ex-girlfriend, Mia D’Agostino, who was reportedly “rattled” by news he was dating the former The Masked Singer panellist.
