Hunted Australia 2023 has only just begun and fans have already started to question how legit the show is.

During the premiere on July 17, we were introduced to this season’s Hunters and Fugitives.

However, fans have already taken to Twitter to call BS on this adult game of cat-and-mouse, stating that the show looks as real as The Bachelor. Ouch.

Hunted Australia 2023 viewers are SHOOK that the Hunters don’t know what malware is

Now, these Hunters are said to be some of the world’s best investigators. Think former members of the Australian Federal Police, Australian Defence Force and British Intelligence.

So when IT legends Ben and Callum left a dodgy link in one of the Hunter’s inboxes, fans were shook that this team of ‘professionals’ didn’t know what MALWARE was.

We can see why people think this show isn’t legit…

Hunted Australia viewers wonder how TF the Fugitives got a parking spot on Chapel Street

Speaking of things being realistic, fans are also mega-confused about how the Fugitives managed to secure a parking spot on Melbourne’s swarming Chapel Street.

Surely production had a role to play here, no?

Fans also went WILD over the way the Fugitives were interacting with the world around them, with many saying they’d be concerned if they were confronted by such rowdy people on the street. And fair enough!

Hunted Australia 2023 fans aren’t sure why laws don’t apply to the Hunters

Not only that but fans were also super baffled about the Hunters’ inability to follow basic Australian road rules, considering they were meant to be the “Good Guys”.

If the Hunters are allowed to speed, they may as well be Fugitives!

Whilst the Hunters had been trying super hard to seem tough and professional, fans weren’t having a bar of it, with many making fun of them for their “serious” nature.

TBH, if we were on the run, we wouldn’t be scared of those fools either. LOL!

Viewers make fun of the Hunters for celebrating after busting the two easiest targets

Sexuality educators Cath and Kel didn’t make it through the first episode without getting caught.

This was very unsurprising, as their strategy was to use the experience as a luxurious getaway. So naturally, viewers made fun of the Hunters for celebrating their not-so-big win.

To be honest, when we heard that Kath and Kel were joining the show, we thought Kath and Kim was getting a reboot.

It looks like fans felt the same way, leading one to post this ICONIC Tweet.

Hunted Australia 2023 fans don’t rate the ‘taunt the Hunters’ rule

This year, Hunted Australia introduced a new rule: Fugitives now have to taunt the Hunters.

And as you’d expect, fans have taken to social media to roast TF out of this rule, with many asking why it’s even a thing.

Speaking of rules, people seem very confused about the show’s format in general.

If you’re just as lost as this Twitter user, you’re in luck, as we’ve somehow deciphered how this crazy show works.

Well, it’s safe to say that the first episode of Hunted received some mixed reactions and as always, we’ll be checking back in after more chaos unfolds!
