Love Island Australia‘s Maddy Gillbanks has sparked outrage after sharing her spicy opinion of OnlyFans in which she slammed female sex workers.

During a recent Q&A session on Instagram, the 2022 Islander was asked if she would ever sign up for the adults-only subscription service.

Her answer shocked fans when she implied women creating OnlyFans content were responsible for men cheating, “especially when he is surrounded by temptation”.

A screenshot of Maddy’s controversial response was shared in the So Dramatic! Facebook before it did the rounds on Influencer Updates’ Instagram.

Her unpopular opinion has divided the internet given the 26-year-old rose to fame for “walking around in a ‘bikini half naked”.

Love Island’s Maddy Gillbanks shared her controversial OnlyFans opinion

“It’s definitely a no for me,” Maddy began in the Instagram Story.

“Now it’s my turn to offend people – I think OnlyFans, porn, and social media are contributing to so many issues modern couples are facing.

“And I want to minimise my part in that.

“Why would a man want to stay faithful when he can get sexually gratified from a thousand different women online?

“There’s less and less incentive for a man to stay loyal to his partner especially when he is surrounded by temptation.

“It’s passed off as empowering and sexual liberation but I don’t see how it’s empowering to take your clothes off and have an incel paying $20 a month to w**k over your pics.

“Even less so if your posting bikini/half-naked soft porn on IG and not even being paid for it?”

But the former HR advisor didn’t dismiss the good that can come from OnlyFans like providing financial independence for women.

“On the other hand, I see why so many women do it,” she continued.

“It’s the best way to make money from a society that has been built to suppress us, so I understand from that perspective.

“I wouldn’t judge my friends or any individual for wanting to get their piece of the pie.”

Fans react to Maddy’s controversial opinion

Following her hot take, many followers called Maddy out for contradicting herself.

“Didn’t she walk around in a ‘bikini half naked’ for three weeks on Love Island?’ one of the followers asked.

“She’s in a bikini in most of her IG posts what is she on about? another quipped.

“Also I find it real funny a lot of these influencers who get paid to post photos and videos have a gripe with other women who also get paid to post photos and videos, it’s the same job just naked,” said another.

Many others agreed with Maddy, saying “not everyone has to support sex workers.”

“As a male (currently single but someone who doesn’t subscribe to OF) I will say she is 100 per cent on the money,” one person wrote.
