Love Island Australia 2022‘s Jordan Dowsett has claimed media reports that he pleaded guilty in a public courtroom to mid-range drink driving a golf buggy were “misleading”.
ICYMI: The 25-year-old faced Southport Magistrate’s Court on November 28 for a drink-driving charge, after police pulled him over around 3 am on November 13.
The court heard that Jordan returned a positive roadside breath test reading and admitted he’d been “consuming a moderate amount of liquor” before driving the golf buggy. A second breath test at Southport Police Station saw him blow 0.159.

Jordan Dowsett claims the media were “misleading” when reporting on his drink driving charge
During an interview with So Dramatic!, Jordan was asked to share his perspective on the drink-driving charges.
“I think youse know all about it, by the looks of it. I think youse have got it all covered, by the looks. Bit misleading things in there [sic],” Jordan said.
He continued: “That’s what news is, they’ll twist it around a bit.”
When asked to clarify what was “misleading” about the reports, Jordan added: “It’s alright. I’ll leave that to you. You should be able to make some good content out of it.”
