Netflix Byron Baes star Nathan Favro has pleaded guilty to a series of driving offences.

The reality star — who also appeared on The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise — pleaded guilty to one count of unlicensed driving after being caught doing an illegal U-turn while on a suspended licence.

On October 29, the 27-year-old was pulled over when he turned at the intersection of the Gold Coast Highway and Fourth Ave in Palm Beach, Queensland.

After performing further checks on the influencer, police discovered that he didn’t have his licence on him and was under two demerit-point suspensions.

According to reports, one of the driving suspensions was in place until February of next year.

Favro’s lawyer said that he was unaware of the suspension because his address was incorrect, and did not receive correspondence from the Department of Main Roads.

She also argued that he was forced to spend hundreds of dollars on Uber to get to work and would have applied for a work licence if he had known.

“Having been before the court for the first time and the lengthy disqualification period he is facing, he is now well aware that having a licence is a privilege,” she said.

When asked by court reporters if he thought it was a good decision to drive on a suspended licence, he said: “Gotta get to work.”

He has since been fined $100 without conviction, with his licence being disqualified for six months.
