MasterChef Australia’s Poh Ling Yeow Revealed Why She Was Open About Her Miscarriage

The TV Chef decided to share her story because she felt it was important for women to speak openly about their experiences.

“I like bringing this up because I think it’s something that people should talk about,” she said.

“And I think it’s this sort of silent grief that women have to go through all the time. I really like to confront my emotions upfront. Like, I think it’s really healthy. I don’t like to bury anything.”

Poh then said that it was “probably one of the most horrendous things I’ve ever been through”.

Jonathan and Poh — who met on the set of MasterChef — were married for six years, however, announced their split in February 2021.
