Well, colour us shooketh because Married at First Sight Australia 2023 will feature some good ol’ fashioned partner-swapping!
While we’ve previously seen dodgy AF cheating scandals on the series, it looks like the producers behind the juggernaut show are now actively encouraging shady behaviour.
According to the Daily Mail Australia, the relationships on the show “will be tested like never before when a partner-swapping task is introduced.”
“They’ve really upped the ante this year,” a source told the publication. “They made different couples swap partners for three days, and it was hell for all involved.”
While this sounds like that early 00’s show Wife Swap — and literally like Daniel Holmes and Carolina Santos‘ storyline — we can guarantee it’s going to cause a sh*t load of drama because some couples “refused” to take part.
“I don’t know if it was because there were too many couples in the end, and they just wanted to test who was genuine or not, or they just wanted to shake things up,” the insider said and HELLO! Spoiler alert!
The participants who did not want to join in “didn’t see the point of it”, saying that this wouldn’t happen in the outside world. And mate, have you dated recently?!

While this seems like something that John Aiken, Alessandra Rampolla and Mel Schilling would not agree to, according to the sneaky source, they gave it the green light!
Participants reportedly had to live with another partner to test their “chemistry” while also trying to “avoid temptation”.
