My Mum, Your Dad Australia 2022 fans have explained why intruder Roe Owens was seen as a major catch (both in and out of the retreat).

During the November 8 episode, the 55-year-old entrepreneur instantly caught the eyes of the single parents, their children and viewers alike, thanks to his stylish good looks and effortless charm.

His suave persona was as a stark contrast from the many of the other male contestants – especially after watching Darren Lucas having a major b*tch sesh about Marette Vinci‘s botox, even though he’s had work done too!

While some fans thought the women were just keen on the handsome new face, others pointed out the real reason why he drew their interest so seamlessly.

Roe individually pulled each of the women aside for a “chat, ” asking them questions about themselves and pulling out smooth one-liners that didn’t give us a shiver down our spines.

Roe quickly left Marette with major heart eyes, had Petula Seath “lost for words”, and even made Kristy Woodruff honest-to-god giggle.

“He is f*cking amazing,” Petula told the other women after her impromptu one-on-one.

“Isn’t he?!” Mel Gousteris agreed. “The way he speaks to you.”

While some fans still preferred Shane Smith because of his “personality and demeanour”, many hoped that Roe’s appearance would give the other male contestants (and honestly, just men in general) a much-needed push.

“Boys stand up and pay attention! THIS is how you treat a woman,” one fan wrote on Instagram.

Gogglebox Australia’s Faye Kontos and Anastasia Katselas simply wrote: “Omg. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.” So true, besties!

So, basically his charm comes down to actually listening to women and holding a conversation… Who would have thought?!
