Farmer Wants a Wife 2021’s Farmer Matt Trewin could be our next super-spreader with the news that he is now dating a contestant from the 2022 season.
After she failed to find love with Farmer Will Simpson on FWAW this year, Madi Simpson has found her happily ever after… and all she needed to do was go on National television, get her heart broken and then meet a farmer from last year!
As reported in episode 223 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a source close to the 26-year-old revealed she is indeed in love.
“Maddy [sic] from Will’s farm is dating Matt from the previous season,” the insider dished. “She was down in his hometown a couple of weekends ago and went to the pub fundraiser event.
“I’m a local, and she’s fit in pretty well, looks like a ball of fun and was very social, always talking to someone new. The whole town has been grilling him ever since!”
Farmer Matt and Madi Simpson Have Been Chatting Since Earlier This Year
According to our very invested personnel, “word has spread pretty quick”; however, they don’t know too many details.
“A mate said they’ve been chatting since March/April when the show finished filming,” they revealed before adding: “They both looked really happy. She wasn’t glued to his hip either and spent a lot of time getting to know the locals.”
While the source wasn’t sure how they met, they assumed it was Farmer related.
“Hoping it works out for them because it’s always good to have new faces in town,” they said.
Now, since this was an email tip-off, we went to a FWAW 2022 contestant to confirm.
“Definitely sounds like a Matt thing to do, and he loves a blonde girl!” CONFIRMED!
Farmer Matt Trewin Was Linked to Married at First Sight’s Samantha Harvey
In November 2021, So Dramatic! exclusively revealed that Matt was dating none other than Married at First Sight Australia’s Samantha Harvey.
At the time, fans of the two shows went into overdrive after the pair posted a number of photos and videos on a night out together.
However, at the same time, he was also *talking* to someone else, and their hook-up was very short-lived!
Reportedly, after his season, Matt and his former contestant, Hayley Love momentarily got back together, after he split with his chosen girl Tara Hurl.
Looks like Matty is giving Farmer Will Dwyer a run for his money…literally!
