A fan has pleaded not guilty to stalking SAS Australia 2022’s Simone Holtznagel.
According to reports, police alleged that Benjamin Reeves, 58, became obsessed with the model turned reality star, turning up uninvited to events she attended for nearly four months.
Reeves was charged with stalking Holtznagel with the intention to cause her fear of physical and mental harm.
Reeves allegedly followed her on multiple occasions and intimated her, with most incidents occurring around Bondi Beach in Sydney.
Officers arrested Reeves in early August at his home in Sydney’s North Shore and charged him the same day.
The 29-year-old did not know her stalker, who was excused from appearing in court on September 1. The matter will return to court in October.
Police have applied for an apprehended violence order (AVO) to protect the star, who found fame on Australia’s Next Top Model and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here 2021.
