Judge Abbie Chatfield has revealed the one controversial celebrity she does not want to see unmasked on The Masked Singer Australia 2022.

The reality star — who joined the series as a panellist in 2022 — has been an absolute powerhouse super-sleuth, impressing fans with her wit and logic to guess who is underneath the epic costumes on the show.

In a new interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, Abbie admitted that she wouldn’t be too impressed if she saw disgraced former My Kitchen Rules judge Pete Evans take it (the mask) off!

“I narrowly missed having an interaction with him on I’m A Celebrity two years ago when he uploaded that Nazi meme, so I was hoping he wasn’t back,” she said.

“That was kind of the only person that I thought, ‘God I hope it isn’t Pete Evans’.” Awkies.

Pete Evans Alleged Neo Nazi Post Made Headlines In November 2020

Back in November 2020, Pete posted a controversial meme featuring a neo-Nazi symbol on social media.

The star had initially been speculated to be joining the I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here 2021 season — which Abbie won — however, was dropped from the line-up due to backlash.

At the time, TV Blackbox reported that Pete had been fired after discussions between Network Ten and production company ITV were ongoing about whether he should appear on the show.

The cartoon showed a caterpillar wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.

The insect was speaking to a butterfly and saying, “You’ve changed”, while the other replied: “We’re supposed to.”

“An oldie but a Goldie [sic],” he captioned the image. “There are many different interpretations of this image. Peace and love to all always.”

Backlash ensued as a Black Sun logo was imprinted inside the butterfly’s wing. A symbol used by Nazis in Germany.

While Pete denied any wrongdoing in the post, it sealed his fate in the eyes of the public.

British chef Nigella Lawson was then called to replace him on My Kitchen Rules much to fans’ delight.
