So Dramatic!

It’s State vs State! Meet the Cast of My Kitchen Rules 2022

Australia’s “favourite” cooking show (well, one of…) My Kitchen Rules is back in 2022 after a two-year hiatus with an all-new cast.

This year, Queen of the kitchen Nigella Lawson is taking over from disgraced host Pete Evans (praise be!), alongside returning judge Manu Feildel.

The competition will pit the states against one another while returning to its roots, i.e. real people, cooking real food, serving treasured family recipes and a ton of drama.

“Inviting people into your home and cooking for them is, by its very nature, intimate,” Nigella said after her appointment.

“While the focus was on the food, I loved getting to know the teams and having a bit of a nosy-around in
their kitchens.

“And frankly, sitting around a table with people eating and talking about food is my idea of heaven!” Well, our idea of heaven is having a nosy into people’s personal lives…so, same, same!

Also joining MKR this season is award-winning food journalist and TV personality Matt Preston, while
celebrity chefs Colin Fassnidge and Curtis Stone return as guest judges.

Of course, each dish will not only be judged by Manu, Nigella and the other acclaimed foodies, but they will be torn apart by the rest of the contestants. Let’s be honest; they are the real judges here!

So, who is competing for home-cook glory?
