Beauty and the Geek Australia 2022’s Angelique Nguyen likes to tell people she’s from Mars. Seriously.
And while there is a myriad of punny pick-up lines we’d love her to use, she mainly just uses her “zany” personality to entice people in.
The 21-year-old calls herself an “open alien book” and is energetic and positive.
The Beauty also calls other people “alien”, which means they’re “out of this world”, and frankly, we NEED more people like Angelique in this world!
Unsurprisingly, she is a social media content creator — spreading her joy to the masses. While she only has 1k followers at the time of publication, we just know this is about to get HUGE!
Beauty and the Geek’s Angelique Nguyen Has Found Someone Who Appreciates Her for Who She Is
While Angelique is not everyone’s cup of tea (c’mon, people), she hasn’t had an easy ride when it comes to others.
During the July 18 episode of BATG, she revealed that her connection with Geek Samuel Mitchell was strong, due to the fact that he is not “judgmental”.
“I can say I can be myself, and he doesn’t judge me!”
When prompted if she has faced in the past, the BATG star became emotional.
“I just feel like I am very different to most people,” she said, before saying that she hasn’t “felt like this before” when it comes to another person.
“It’s exciting. It’s a different feeling and emotion.”
Why Did Angelique Nguyen Apply for Beauty and the Geek Australia 2022?
Upon applying, Angelique hoped to “align” with a geek to make him more assertive and stand up for himself.
She’s also looking for a world that’s full of “good vibes” and “vibrant people” — and TBH, we love that from her!
“I’m eccentric, I’m not the typical, big-booby beauty. I feel like I’m a rainbow gem that has yet to be discovered,” she told 9Now. “I feel like I’m hidden, and I want to learn more, I want to know more about the world around me and that’s why I’m here. To see if the geeks can teach me that.”
The curly-haired brunette is not necessarily looking for love on the show.
However, she wouldn’t say no if she formed a strong connection and is looking for someone “genuine” and “amazeballs”.
