Start your engines! The Ru Paul’s Drag Race Down Under season two air date has been ru-vealed!
The brand new season of the Stan Original Series RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under will premiere Saturday, July 30 — and we are tucked, shaved and ready to get back to the werkroom!
Ru Paul, Michelle Visage and Rhys Nicholson are returning to critique, judge and slay a whole host of brand new fabulous queens from Australia and New Zealand.
What Can We Expect from Ru Paul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 2?
“I am thrilled to produce and host a brand new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under,” Mama Ru said in a statement.
“We’ve only just begun to shine a worldwide spotlight on the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of Australasian queens.”
Just like in season one, the fierce queens will be put to the test in mini and max challenges, share beautiful moments in the werkroom and of course, lip-sync for their life in battles that will ultimately see one queen crowned!

Season one feels like only yesterday and for the former competing queens, seeing their reign end would certainly get their knickers in a knot!
However, once Stan announced the date, they were just like the rest of us — PUMPED!
“YESSAH!!” Art Simone commented on the official Instagram announcement.
“FINALLY 😍💖” JoJo Zaho added, while Etcetera Etcetera posted three flaming heart emojis: “❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥.”
Right now, we don’t know who the new queens competing are, but rest assured, they are coming in hot and ready to show off their EPIC uniqueness, nerve and talent!
