Married at First Sight Australia 2022‘s Olivia Frazer has revealed the real reason she ventured into Sydney Airport to pick up Jackson Lonie after he cheated on her in Melbourne.
The 28-year-old was papped leaving the Arrivals gate alongside Jackson, just one day after his party pash went viral online.
Everyone knows that parking at Sydney Airport is an Olympic sport (and costs an absolute fortune). As such, many were left scratching their heads as to why Olivia would actually get out of the car to pick up her bae — especially AFTER he made a mockery out of her.
While some surmised that the couple wanted to present a united front in the wake of the scandal, Olivia has confirmed that this was not the case.
As revealed in episode 191 of the So Dramatic! podcast, the TV bride said she wanted to protect Jackson from a “mean” paparazzo.
According to Olivia, this was the same pap who ambushed her after flying home from Melbourne a day earlier.
“In case he was there again, I didn’t want [Jackson] to cop it by himself,” she told So Dramatic!.
Adding that the move was “probs dumb” on her behalf, Olivia admitted that she didn’t want Jackson to “be upset by himself with pictures being taken”.
However, the “thought crossed [her] mind” to let Jackson hitchhike his way home following the weekend’s events. And rightly so!
Olivia also disclosed that the pair was originally supposed to fly home together on the evening of May 29.
“But we both changed our flights and didn’t tell a soul,” she said.
MAFS Alumni Suggested That Olivia and Jackson’s Cheating Scandal Was a Ploy to Promote OnlyFans
Jackson hard-launched his OnlyFans platform on Saturday, June 4, just one week after he was busted kissing another woman during a trip to his hometown.
Now, a number of MAFS alumni have suspected that the pash was all a ploy to gain traction for the 31-year-old’s foray into the adult-content industry.
Under a post about the OnlyFans launch on the So Dramatic! podcast’s Instagram page, Married at First Sight 2021 groom Liam Cooper weighed in on the authenticity of the couple’s IRL cheating scandal.
“Now tell me the kiss wasn’t a set up for both their [OnlyFans] accounts and media around it?? [sic]” he penned.
Domenica Calarco also suggested that Olivia and Jackson’s publicist, Max Markson, was behind the stint. However, Max denied any involvement.
