Congratulations are in order for The Bachelor’s Sam and Snezana Wood who have welcomed their third baby together.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the #couplegoals pair announced the safe arrival of Harper Jones Wood, who is now a little sister to Eve, 16, (Snez’s daughter from a previous relationship), Willow, four, and Charlie, two.
“So here’s a story from the last [five] days,” Sam penned alongside a carousel of photos. “On Wednesday May 4th, one month early we welcomed Harper Jones Wood to the world.”
However, as the 41-year-old went on to detail, Snezana became “really sick” following the arrival of their new daughter.
Sam explained: “30 minutes after this photo was taken. Snez became sick. Really sick and before we knew it Harper was off to the special care unit and Mum was into ICU.
“Of course in true Snez Mum fashion her only thoughts were for her little baby and it was breaking her heart that she couldn’t hold her.”
The fitness trainer revealed that both his wife and Harper had “picked up” an infection and after receiving top-notch care from hospital staff, were reunited some days following the birth.
Sam concluded the announcement with nothing but praise for his “strong” and “beautiful” wife — and not without a cheeky Star Wars reference, either!
“You really are the strongest and most beautiful person I know,” he wrote. “And like you, thank god the force is strong in little Harper.”
When Did Sam and Snezana Wood Announce They Were Having a Third Baby?
Back in November 2021, Sam and Snez announced they were having another bub via their Instagram accounts.
Snezana, 41, who first revealed the joyous news, showed off her growing bump.
Sam, sharing a post of his own, revealed their exciting news by posting the most precious video of Willow and Charlie.
In the sweet post, Sam called his daughters over and told the giggling toddlers that “Mummy and Daddy are going to have another baby, and it’s another little girl!” So cute!
“Did you want to give Mummy’s belly a kiss?” Sam asked Charlie, who hilariously opted for a dramatic stare into the camera instead. LOL!
The arrival of the new baby will bring the Wood family to a total of six — with Sam living in a world of women.
Sam has spoken openly about his role as a stepfather to Eve and how much she means to him.
Eve was nine when Sam and Snezana met on Season three of The Bachelor Australia in 2015, and after falling for Snez, Sam took on the role of a family man in an instant.
