Daisy Kelliher and Gary King have revealed they hope “everything” gets cut from the third season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
In a new interview on episode 158 of the So Dramatic! podcast, host Megan Pustetto asked the pair what they hoped didn’t go to air.
“Yeh, everything!” Daisy joked.
The spin-off’s third voyage on HayU, is filled to the brim with drama, tears, fights and pashing. Lots. of pashing — particularly (and most shockingly for those who watched season two) between OG arch-nemesis Gary and Daisy.
How Does Daisy Feel About Her Kiss with Gary?
While Gary is used to getting media attention from kissing, well, every female cast member he can get his hands on, Daisy found the whole thing a lot more uncomfortable.
“It was a kiss apparently,” she said. “It was a very long kiss, way too long. For me, I’m pretty embarrassed about that.”
Gary Gets Caught Up In ANOTHER Below Deck Love Triangle
Before his hot steamy pash with Daisy, Gary became embroiled in a love triangle with newbies, second stew Ashley Marti and deck crew, Tom Pearson.
In episode two, we saw Ashley FROTHING hard over the South African first mate and then in the promo for the season, Daisy goes off at her for sleeping with Tom! Is this Married at First Sight or Below Deck?
When asked how far his “relationship” goes with Ashley, Gary said: “From my part, not very far.”
“She kind of showed me how her actions were and that was a massive turn-off for me,” he admitted. “It didn’t materialise into anything.”
Even though he felt like this onboard, the pair now remain “civil”.
As for if he has learned from his past transgressions from season two (with Aussie fan-fave Alli Dore and US-based Sydney Zaruba), Gary actually revealed that he wouldn’t date someone who wasn’t a yachtie! Wut?!
“You work and live on these boats 24/7. To meet someone that is not in the yachting industry is very rare. If you do, you’ve either got to leave that place, or they’ll leave it very soon,” he revealed.
If you’re keen on the long-haired crew member, Gary admitted that he was “single”.
“Unfortunately, yes. I am actively looking, shall I say,” he said.
Chief Stew Daisy Struggled to Manage her Team
Already, friction is beginning to show between Ashley and first stew, Gabriela Barragan — and according to Daisy, it’s only about to get worse.
“It impacts the season quite a lot,” she revealed. “It impacted my season a lot. I really struggled to manage them and it was a very weird situation.”
The biggest concern Daisy had, was Ashley and Gabriela’s incessant power struggle which impacted the way they did their job.
“I felt that they couldn’t see the bigger picture and concentrate on their jobs rather they were very obsessed with their title, which I’ve never seen before.”
What Can We Expect from the Rest of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season Three?
As the season’s promo trailer showed us, it’s clear that we are in for a very bumpy ride when it comes to Below Deck Sailing Yacht season three.
While there’s no baby-daddy drama this year, there will be a lot of hook-ups!
“I think last year, maybe the Dani [Soares] and JL [Cerza-Lanaux] and the Gary, Sidney and Ali story kind of consumed a lot, whereas this year, I think, you know, everyone has a bit more going on individually, and so I think that will be nice to see,” Daisy said.
