The Bachelor Australia‘s Brittany Hockley has been dragged into drama involving Aussie tennis star Nick Kyrgios and his ex-girlfriend Chiara Passari.
It comes after Brittany and her Life Uncut co-host (and fellow Bachelor alum) Laura Byrne interviewed the tennis player during their KIIS FM radio show on Saturday.
In the interview, Nick gushed over his current partner Costeen Hatzi, whom he confirmed he was dating in December 2021.
However, the unexpected chaos ensued when the star’s former lover Chiara commented on a clip of the interview posted to Brittany’s Instagram account.
The 23-year-old called out The Bachelor 2018 star for “[acting] blind” towards Nick’s troublesome behaviour while they were together.
“Brittney… you were there along side most of the travels and only had interests in connecting with the famous people,[sic]” Chiara wrote. “You know how Nick really was but you still acted blind towards it in hopes to climb to the top.”
She continued: “Nick did and said ALL the exact same things in the first months of being with me too.”
Adding that Nick has a “playbook”, Chiara further slammed the reality star for giving his “awful abusive behaviour” a platform “just for the views”.
Did Brittany Hockley Respond To Chiara Passari?
According to News.com.au, Brittany attempted to defuse the confrontation by asserting that she didn’t want to have “a public conversation” about it.
“I’m confused, This has nothing to do with your relationship? I am sorry it didn’t work out with you. But I was there with my boyfriend, and in turn his friends and colleagues,” she replied to Chiara. “You know what you’ve just said about me is not true. You don’t know me so you cannot make this claim. We both know this to be true.”
The 34-year-old continued: “I’m not disputing what he did or didn’t say about you either. This interview didn’t have anything to do with you. I am genuinely sorry you were so hurt in your relationship but please don’t bring me into this and make nasty claims about me when it has nothing to do with me. X”
However, comments have since been deleted and Brittany no longer follows Chiara online.

Brittany and Chiara reportedly know each other from the tennis circuit.
While Chiara travelled worldwide with Nick last year, Brittany hopped from grand slam to grand slam as part of her boyfriend Jordan Thompson‘s team. However, there has been a mountain of speculation that the pair have split following a series of cryptic posts from Brittany.
According to fans following the saga, the Life Uncut podcast and radio host has been deleting comments from anyone showing support to Chiara, as well as blocking them.
What Happened Between Chiara Passari And Nick Kyrgios?

Chiara and Nick first began dating mid-2020, just three months after he split from Russian tennis star Anna Kalinskaya.
However, in the 18 months the pair were together, they repeatedly entered a war of words on social media.
After returning from overseas in October 2021, Nick and Chiara were placed in separate rooms during Hotel Quarantine after police were alerted to a verbal altercation between them.
It came after Chiara shared a photo in bed with a naked woman, accusing him of cheating on her.
She also shared DMs that appeared to be from Kyrgios, which included a message from the tennis star saying “don’t neck yourself”, amid a dispute about strippers.
The couple split soon after.
