During Wednesday night’s episode of Married at First Sight, bride Holly Greenstein wed Andrew Davis after years of being unlucky in love.

As soon as we were introduced to the 36-year-old cinema manager, we learned that there’s just one thing she wants in life: to be a mum.

“Being a wife and a mother really is the most important thing to me,” she explained. “I never thought in a million years that I would be 36 [years old] without a husband and a baby.”

In her years of singledom, Holly revealed that she’s been manifesting her dream of getting married for “years and years”. But there could be one key reason as to why it hasn’t happened prior to Married at First Sight.

The simple answer? She’s manifesting wrong.

She also keeps a drawer next to her bed that contains nothing but a piece of paper with “husband” and a heart drawn on it. So… there’s that.

How Is Holly Greenstein Manifesting Incorrectly?

During the episode, viewers saw Holly listing things she aspired to in her life.

These included an “honest”, “loyal” and “sexy” husband and a “best friend [who] puts the rubbish out”.

However, instead of aspiring to these things, the MAFS bride’s manifestation technique would be more beneficial if she acted as if she already has them.

Instagram psychic ReadingsByNess previously revealed that there are certain phrases that can “block” your manifestations from coming to fruition.

These include “I hope I can”, “I wish for”, “I want” and “I need to”. This suggests that the way Holly conducts her manifestation is actually “blocking” what she wants from the universe.

What Is The Right Way To Manifest?

According to Gabrielle Bernstein, the author of Super Attractor and The Universe Has Your Back, “manifesting is also known as co-creating”.

Why? Because the end result is often a “collaboration between you and the Universe”.

In discussion with Oprah DailyA Spiritual Entrepreneur author Angelina Lombardo added that nobody will see results from their manifesting if they don’t act on them.

“Another way to be ‘in action’ when manifesting is to ask yourself the question, ‘What would my future self be thinking?’” Lombardo said. “’Being’ the person who already has, does, and feels your goals, dreams, and desires helps you become that person.”

This “reframing” technique ensures that you believe in your own goals and therefore allows you to be successful.

Perhaps Holly could revisit her manifestation approach?
