Influencer Nadia Bartel will face court in March after being charged with allegedly driving with a suspended licence last year.

The former The All New Monty star was reportedly stopped by police on August 25, 2021 while she was travelling through the Melbourne suburb of Windsor.

Nadia is now set to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on March 24 over the incident. She will also address charges for failing to update her residential address.

If found guilty, the ex-wife of AFL star Jimmy Bartel could face four months in jail or a fine up to $4,500.

The real clanger, however, is that Nadia insists she was “not aware” that her licence had been suspended.

“In August I was pulled over by the police who advised me that I was driving on a suspended licence,” she told the Herald Sun in January. “I was not aware of the suspension as communication had been sent to my previous residential address which I didn’t receive.”

She continued: “I would never have driven had I been aware of the suspension and my residential details have now been updated.”

The fashion tycoon also disclosed that the suspension was due to exceeding her demerit point balance.

Nadia Bartel’s Charges Came One Week Prior To #WhitePowderGate

Just one week after being pulled over by police, Nadia was filmed *allegedly* snorting a suspicious white powder while attending an illegal lockdown party on September 1.

So Dramatic! was sent the groundbreaking video after Nadia’s business partner, Ellie Pearson, accidentally posted it to her Instagram story. Don’t you just hate when that happens?!

Nearly a day after the clip went viral and following the WAG turning comments off on her social media, Nadia broke her silence on Friday night by posting an apology to her Instagram account, in which she hoped she can “earn [our] forgiveness”.

“I take full responsibility and I am committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure I make better choices in future,” the post read. “To my family and friends, my business partners and the public health workers trying to keep us all safe… I am embarrassed and remorseful.

“I am truly and deeply sorry, I hope I can earn your forgiveness and, in time, your trust.”

As is the case with all influencers on a downward spiral, the Henne fashion label co-founder lost several lucrative endorsement deals as a result of the blunder.

C’est la vie!
