If they’re correct, Aussie actress Tottie Goldsmith will appear on the small screen come Monday night!

“That’s totally Tottie Goldsmith,” one fan penned on Twitter.

Another shared the same sentiment, claiming that the voice in the teaser “sounded like her”.

Who Is Tottie Goldsmith?

The 59-year-old performer is the daughter of the late Melbourne restaurateur Brian Goldsmith and Rona Newton-John, Olivia Newton-John‘s elder sister.

Tottie rose to prominence in the early eighties when she appeared on a number of Aussie soaps. These included The Young Doctors, Starting Out, and Prisoner.

Following a stint on The Secret Life of Us, she joined the cast of Neighbours as Cassandra Freedman in 2009.

Like her famous aunt, Tottie also sang her way into our hearts on stage. Over her career, she has appeared in the New Rocky Horror Show and Grease the Arena Spectacular.

In recognition of her work within the arts industry, the mother of one was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM). She received the accolade in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours for “service to the community, and to the performing arts”.

She was also previously married to skier Steven Lee, with whom she shares a daughter, Layla.
