Dancing with the Stars alum, Rachael Finch is the latest victim of roasting after botching the Spanish word ‘tortilla’.
The mum-of-two was showing off some very yummy looking vegan nachos when fans were quick to point out her pronunciation.
Cult Insta account Celeb Spellcheck, who has an impressive 187k followers, shared the faux pas which at the time of publication, has amassed over 100,500 views.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the 33-year-old said: “Made my vegan nachos for dinner for the whole fam tonight guys, so I’ve got tortillas on the bottom and a bean mix.”
Instead of saying “torti-yah”, Rachael said “tort-i-la”, which to be fair is a VERY common mistake. However, when you’ve got 299k Insta followers, it’s harder to let this one go under the radar…

Fans were quick to jump on the bandwagon and roast the Body By Rachael founder.
“A little tor tillar before the ball ett,” one fan commented, while another said: “TOR-TEE-AHS not TOR-till-ahs…also this looks gross.” LOL!
Understandably, other fans had no idea what was wrong with what she said.
“OK, what am I missing?” someone wrote, to which another replied: “You can tell those who don’t understand what the issue is, obviously pronounce tortillas the same way.”
Elyse Knowles Suffered the Same Fate After Spelling “Wallah” Instead of “Voila”
The savage ribbing is not the first time an influencer has been trolled for a common word.
Back in August 2020, model and former The Block star Elyse Knowles was crucified for the spelling of ‘voila’, when she wrote ‘wallah’ instead.
The incident was so well-documented that even The Fat Jewish — who has 10 million followers — shared the gaff on his Instagram account.
“I make mistakes all the time. It’s who I am. I haven’t been deeply affected by it at all because I spell things wrong all the time,” Elyse told Stellar in January 2021.
“But there’s a global pandemic and the whole of the Australian media is reporting on one word.”
